Motorola Droid Razr

There’s plenty to be excited about with the release of the much hyped Motorola Droid Razr, especially if you’ve been a fan of Motorola’s previous incarnations of the thin Razr mobile phone series. Their latest offering is a smartphone with impeccable design powered by Google’s Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and could possibly be the thinnest phone on the planet, measuring just 7.1 mm.  As you’d expect, this phone is also very light, weighing in at a mere 4.5 ounces.  The 4.3” touchscreen encompasses a majority of the surface of the phone with an impressive 960 x 540 resolution.

Built with premium materials to handle rugged use, its Kevlar fiber cover protects the rear, there’s also the tough Corning Gorilla Glass to protect the display. The old saying that good things come in small packages is definitely true with the Motorola Droid Razr, as it’s packed with all the technology you’d expect from a popular smartphone in today’s competitive market.  The phone has tons of processing power with a 1.2GHz dual core CPU and 1GB of RAM.  That’s more then enough power to run popular applications and games available at the Android Market.

The Motorola Droid Razr comes equipped with a highly-rated 8.0 megapixel rear-facing camera with video recording and image stabilization.  Another neat feature is a front-facing 1.3 MP cam that allows you to see what’s being recorded, which is especially helpful if you use your phone for vlogging or want to record quick video messages to send to family and friends.

This powerful smartphone has a great selection of preloaded applications including streaming videos from Netflix, NFL Mobile and SmartActions to help elongate the life of your device’s battery.  QuickOffice is also preinstalled and allows you to create and edit Microsoft Office documents as well as share them with other users.

The Motorola Droid Razr operates on the 4G LTE network and can seamlessly connects to WiFi networks.  This powerful piece of technology was launched in November 2011 and is available via the Verizon network. The current price tag is $299 with a 2-year contract.
